Warm Bath

Steam lifts off the surface in slow, uneven threads. A breath of wind folds it over the water, and for a moment the far side of the bath disappears. Then the air stills and the steam rises straight again, thinning as it climbs, until it is only sky.

How it works

Every moment begins with the same option: Stay a while. It lingers where you are, with nothing to decide, and every path is still open afterward. Beyond that, up to three ways onward. Some circle back; two lead home, each with its own postcard.
