Warm Bath

You stay by the spout and listen. Up close, the sound is not one sound but several: a hollow knock inside the bamboo, a thin pour, a soft collapse where the water lands. Together they make something steady enough to lean on.

How it works

Every moment begins with the same option: Stay a while. It lingers where you are, with nothing to decide, and every path is still open afterward. Beyond that, up to three ways onward. Some circle back; two lead home, each with its own postcard.
