Warm Bath

You stay on the rim with your feet in the water. The warmth has reached your knees and seems content to stop there. Small ripples from the spout arrive at your ankles, very faint, long after they began. There is no hurry to go further in.

How it works

Every moment begins with the same option: Stay a while. It lingers where you are, with nothing to decide, and every path is still open afterward. Beyond that, up to three ways onward. Some circle back; two lead home, each with its own postcard.
