Warm Bath

You stay beside the lantern. The candle inside leans with the breeze and straightens. The moth opens its wings once, closes them, and goes on resting on the warm stone. The light seems to grow brighter, but only because the sky around it is growing darker.

How it works

Every moment begins with the same option: Stay a while. It lingers where you are, with nothing to decide, and every path is still open afterward. Beyond that, up to three ways onward. Some circle back; two lead home, each with its own postcard.
